The base of the Curling Table is carved from a single block of Carrara or black Marquinia marble, resulting in the simplest and purest of forms. A metal cylinder sits on top of the marble base to support the table top, in ultra-clear transparent glass, creating a truly sleek overall effect. Ultimately, Curling is defined by its instinctive, immediate design, its bold character and its imposing scenic presence. Designed by Gino Carollo.
Comfortable looking thanks to the fully leather upholstered and padded body, the Lamina Side Chair is distinguished by rounded corners that give originality to the ensemble and refined sartorial details that highlight the excellent quality of the processes and materials used. The structural stability is ensured by the solid seat surface that secures and stabilizes the two side edges of the chair. Designed by Mauro Lipparini.
Lamina Too is an emery leather stool, embellished with a matching stitching edge. Measured and timeless elegance, which furnishes with style and practicality. Lamina Too is characterized by a sober and harmoniously proportionate forms. The modern and essential design, enhanced by the high quality and the skillful workmanship of the materials makes Lamina Too a valid solution for any environment, from classic to contemporary. Born from the happy encounter between light, geometric planes with a slender and linear base, the Filly Side Chair is a testament to a design dedicated to aesthetic perfection and functionality. In the version upholstered entirely in fabric, leather, eco-leather or emery leather, Filly shows a more understated face; instead, it reveals a more dynamic look in the variant with the original metal legs visible. Meet the Designers
The collaboration between Gino Carollo and Bonaldo started at the beginning on 2000. It was founded on the shared outlook toward internationalization and industrial design, toward product design linked to engineering, to the meticulousness of the process that starts from the prototyping stage up to the realization of finished models.
Winner of prestigious international design contests, like Young & Designer Milano (1987) and the International Du Pont Award Köln (Germany, 1988 and 1989), Mauro Lipparini has brought his consolidated experience in the field of industrial and interior design to Bonaldo since 2005. Lipparini's style is based on essential forms and energetic lines, organic patterns and original visual ideas imbued with a playful spirit.
There has been a long-standing collaboration between Bonaldo and Bartoli Design. Their design and project knowledge led to the creation of popular products, like the Sol Table that won the "2010 Good Design Award", the Still Table that won the "2012 Good Design Award" and received the "Red Dot Award" in 2013.
