Bonaldo Beds: The Architecture of Dreams

An Italian company through and through, Bonaldo has continued to experiment with new materials since their conception in 1936. Their love of partnering with some of the top international designers, such as Gino Carollo, Jarrod Lim, Kaori Shiina, and Karim Rashid has produced award-winning furnishings, from dining room tables and chairs, to sofas, beds, accessories and more.

Bonaldo's collection of beds take shape in an atmosphere filled with emotions. They stand out for their welcoming shapes, precious materials and color finishes. Designed to ensure the highest sleeping quality, Bonaldo's beds provide a haven of relaxation in an environment that's becoming a welcoming place for living – more than just a room for sleeping.

BONALDO'S BEDS

Cuff

Designed by Mauro Lipparini

Available in double or single versions, Cuff is a bed made elegant by the precious details that characterize it: fastenings that dot the two flaps of the padded headboard, the pleating that runs vertically, the leather inserts that also enrich the bed frame, and the painted metal feet in sophisticated hues.

Cuff can come with a completely removable cover in fabric, leather or eco-leather and is produced in various versions: with a high headboard (Cuff hi), with a thicker bed frame and low feet in painted wood and low (Cuff plus) or high (Cuff hi plus) headboard. In versions with storage (Cuff open and Cuff hi open), additional space can be gained for storing covers, cushions and other necessities for the bedroom.

Lovy

The Lovy Bed has an unusual headboard that has a triple function: to enclose like an embrace, to level out to act as a handy support and to decorate the sleeping area in an original way. For this reason, Lovy is perfect for those seeking an absolutely unique article of furniture.

Available in numerous fabrics and color variations, Lovy's cover is completely removable. The large headboard contrasts with the simple lines of the bed frame and has different designs for the models in the series: it can be asymmetrical, as in the Lovy Bed, embroidered with diamond patterns in Lovy Bed ego, or padded in the Lovy Bed plus. A high headboard can be found in the Lovy Bed hi, Lovy Bed ego in which the headboard is embroidered, or Lovy Bed hi plus with its padded version.

Madame C

Refined but highly unconventional, the Madame C bed features a headboard that is made up of three large and slightly overlapping cushions, which mark out the perimeter of an authentic oasis of relaxation, able to ensure comfort without sacrificing formal elegance. Madame C is raised from the ground by thin, tubular or moulded feet in painted metal, available in numerous color variations.

With a completely removable cover in fabric, leather or eco-leather, Madame C is also available in a version with a thicker bed frame and low feet. In the Madame C Bed plus open version, precious additional space can be gained for storing covers, cushions, and everything necessary for the bedroom.

Moglie e Marito

Designed by Paolo Grasselli

An austere metal frame is combined with the softness of the headboard made up of two abundant and voluminous cushions: the peculiarity of the Moglie e Marito bed lies in this combination, which creates a distinctive construction detail.

Thanks to the possibility of combining the many metal finishes with the cover of the cushions, it is possible to create elegant tone-on-tone combinations to satisfy the more moderate tastes, or bold contrasts to please the more creative spirits.

Picabia

A disorderly combination of cushions that manages to be decorative and functional, discreet yet spectacular: this is the Picabia bed. Picabia is a bed with unusual lines that offers those who choose it numerous options for personalization, giving maximum space to creativity for a unique result and effect.

The finish of Picabia's cushions can be monochromatic, with gradation or in contrast, in line with personal taste, thereby giving the bed a different characteristic depending on the selected combinations. The removable cover is made of fabric or leather. The color of the wooden feet can be grey anthracite, walnut or cherry or made of matte painted metal. Picabia is available in double or single versions.
